Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must show at least one of:
- • Homeless or living in unsafe/inadequate housing
- • Centrelink or Veterans Affairs statements (low/no income)
- • Victims of domestic violence or unsafe conditions
- • Documentation for dependents (birth certificates or healthcare cards)
Additional Rules
- • No prior assistance in last 3 months
- • Priority: families with children, elderly, people with disabilities
- • Special assessment for substance abuse; supervised housing where needed
Rates & Housing Support
Emergency units available now- • Adults: $100/week (cost equivalent per unit)
- • Children (under 12): $50/week
- • Families: Total = adults + children
- • Emergency accommodation: 2–4 weeks (extendable for high-risk)
